Illusoscope is a production company founded by Pardeep Sahota that is dedicated to making unique work with passion, wit and creativity.

Pardeep Sahota is a three time Clio award-winning writer, director and editor. He won the British Arrows Emerging Talent Gold Award 2022.  He has collaborated in commercials and promos with a vast range of clients and world renowned brands.  His award-winning short film series Bleeding Art, was Official Selection at BAFTA qualifying Slamdance Film Festival 2020 in Park City, Utah. In 2021, he was the recipient of the B3 Media Associate Artist Award, an organisation dedicated to supporting British multicultural talent in the creative industries. He won 6 Promax Global Excellence 2021 awards & 6 Promax Europe 2021 awards including Gold Funniest Promo & Gold Use of Copywriting. He ended the year winning 3 Clio Entertainment 2021 awards including Silver for Best Social Content Campaign and Bronze for Best Copywriting. In 2023, Pardeep was accepted as a member of BAFTA Connect. In 2024, he became a mentor for Arts Emergency, a UK based charity that seeks opportunities for underrepresented young people in the arts sector. His work has been shortlisted by the Shiny Network and reviewed as “clever, funny & not for the faint-hearted” and that is the perfect description for the type of creative work he wants to continue to make. His latest genre bending short film OK/NOTOK is due to have its World Premiere at Oscar & BAFTA qualifying Leeds International Film Festival 2024 in competition for Best British Short.

His obsession with filmmaking began at age ten, shooting his first short films on his father's VHS camera.  He studied History at University College London, whilst also becoming Head of Production for the UCLU Film Society.  He also worked for several years as director's assistant to British filmmaker Gurinder Chadha, OBE and doesn’t enjoy talking about himself in the third person.
